Our story

Eglise Evangelique Amour de Christ of the C&MA began when Rev. Ngoma R. Ntoto, have completed a Master of Divinity at Alliance Theological Seminary (ATS). He joined a prayer group of African immigrants at Lexington Avenue Methodist Church (LUMC) at 150 E 62nd Street, New York, NY. In July2002, they began the process of becoming incorporated with the C&MA Metropolitan District of New York and New Jersey. In that same year, the group became a church plant under the direction of Rev. Ngoma R. Ntoto, supported spiritually and financially by the churches of Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA). Today, Eglise Evangelique Amour de Christ is an active C&MA church, which meets at Trinity Baptist Church (TBC) at 250 E 61st Street New York, NY 10065. Though we do not have one of our own, we hope in faith to one day have a building. Our God is sovereign! As our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ said, «I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. » To accomplish this, he calls his people to follow his lead in circumstances favorable and unfavorable. Through the devotion and sacrifice of all his leaders, the Lord brings his church to grow in stages, always trusting in his promises. Glory be to God!  Do you live in the city of New York? Are you looking for a vibrant assembly? Why not join us? May God bless you!
